What makes this poster good?
This poster shows depth, both in the photo, and the layering of the objects. The circle is an eye-catching feature that draws attention to the poster in the overall, and the footer bar brings a "grounded" and organized sense to the poster. Large white text on the dark background makes it easier to read and also aesthetically pleasing.
Why is is better than the last poster?
The previous poster had the circle set in the middle, which was distracting to the overall concept. Splitting the information evenly on the left and right side of the poster was also distracting and made it harder to read comfortably.
What did you do to create the poster?
First, we took the photo and made a general template with simple rectangles and circles. We later added more layers to the footer and circle to add some depth and also toyed around with opacity to make it visually pleasing.
